8020 was given the opportunity to work on creating a digital presence for the programme. BHB is a long-term sustainable movement towards a heart-healthy nation. The mission is to actively promote heart health across India, by creating awareness about heart disease and providing workable solutions to help overcome it.

The brief

BHB is already a large programme / movement offline - we need to build a core presence online across all touch points and educate people about the risks of heart disease and how to prevent it.

Strategy & Execution

The core insight we found was that most people weren't necessarily aware of the how serious the issue of heart health really is. Was like it doesn't really effect me. The stats around heart attacks were absolutely horrifying.

The best part of this is most heart issues are lifestyle associated and are therefore preventable. So our job as the digital agency was to find ways to communicate how people can lead healthier lives by following simple habits in life.

We used social media extensively to communicate ways to keep a healthy heart - from the benefits of exercise to food and diet tips.

We also collaborated with other agencies to help people take a pledge to lead a healthier life.

To date BHB is one of India's most recognized platforms that continuously pushes the boundaries of spreading the message of heart health to make India a healthier nation.
